Natalie Ballenger, 19, is a sophmore undergraduate studendt attending Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. She currently study's in Carol Webber's studio. Her primary teacher in Santa Cruz is Kathyrn Adkins She is a singer/actress/dancer who will be working very hard to hopefully make it to Broadway and the Met. She also plays the piano. Natalie has had the tremendous opportunity of getting "choachings" from San Francisco Opera's Sheri Greenawald. Natalie has taken several national and regional competitions and venues including National Public Radio's program for young artists "From the Top," Pacific Music Society, three-time champion of MTAC Talent Bank, as well as many honors from the National Association of Teachers of Singing, including the San Francisco Bay Area Emerging Artist Award. Natalie has also performed with the following companies; American Musical Theatre of San Jose, Cabrillo Stage, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Lyric Theatre, and Bayshore Lyric Opera. She has an older brother who is 22years old, and he is a graduate of the Thorton School of Music at USC in Classical Guitar. Many thanks to her wonderful teachers: Kathryn Adkins, Barbara Lopez, Sheri Greenawald, Angela Gooch, Joanna Mueller, and Cindy Morley. All of them have had an amazing impact on my life and I'm forever grateful.
