glitter-graphics.comHi, this is Jess. I started the profile for my Everquest character, Bianca (80 druid on emarr). It's pretty useful for keeping up with friends, though, so I don't limit access to my druid alter-ego anymore. Yeah, I am kind of a geek, but I can pass for a normal person so I do ok.
I'm in my late 20's, married with 2 step-kids and a siberian husky. I am currently unemployed, but looking for a position in the Columbia area doing administrative work.
I enjoy walking with my dog, playing Rock Band (I drum and sometimes sing), cooking, watching House, CSI, and Project Runway.
My husband and I are involved in the SCA, a middle ages group, and our personas are Icelandic Vikings around the 10th century. I do a lot of sewing, mostly viking costumes and stuff for the SCA. I occasionally do something like re-cover chair cushions or make curtains. Even more occasionally I'll sew a button back on for you.
I really love to read. I read a lot of blogs and websites, mostly about health, fashion, and relationships. I enjoy fantasy books. I recently read the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer and I loved it. I also love historical fiction, books about textile archeology and finds from the viking age, my husband's woodworking magazines (which he leaves all over the dining room table), and pretty much anything someone reccomends for me.
I like to make things. Other than clothing, I have tried my hand at making shoes, hats, jewelry, cheese, mead, etc. I like to design something in my head and on paper over and over until it's perfect. I used to do a lot of renaissance dance. The husband is not so much into that, so I don't go out dancing at Pennsic anymore. I can still do a good Rostibolli Gioiso though!
