About Me

Jim & I had a whirl wind romance. We met in a karaoke bar the last weekend of march 2003, it was a Friday night & he was there with his live-in girlfriend. Saturday night they broke up. We met again Monday, he told me that they broke up & I asked him out. Our 1st date was 2 days later on Wednesday night. The following Saturday, he took me to meet his family. We had known each other for a week. Easter weekend ( 3 weeks after meeting ) he asked me to marry him. At the same Karaoke bar. He got up & sang "I'll be" then got down on one knee & proposed. We started planing a February wedding. A month later (end of May) we found out we were having a January baby. So, we had a august wedding. It was a good size party, about 100 people. Our very good friend Deb got ordained on-line and preformed the ceremony. This past August 9th was our 3 year ann. But we are still quite disgustingly happy.We have a great little boy who turned 2 this past January 25th. His name is James Frederick, we call him "LJ" for short. (little Jim) - James - after my husband, my husband's great-grandfather, & my grandfather. Frederick - for my father & my other grandfather.We are expecting #2 this October. Our due date is the 31st. Halloween, my favorite day of the year, so that's cool. We found out that they think it's a girl the last week of June.My Jim, well Jim is in the Navy. That's a good & bad thing for all the normal reasons. We are currently living in Gaeta Italy. Which no one has ever heard of. But if you check out my post i have i blog about it. He's been gone for about 1/2 of the time we've been here. So, I'm more like a single mom who doesn't have to work. But life is pretty good. Got word yesterday that Kit's passport is in! I can pick it up tuesday! So we WILL be home in a week & a half! WHOO-HOOO!

Whoo-Hoo... feeling pretty good about myself...

So I spent $100 on 3 pairs of new jeans. TOTALLY NOT something I would normally waste money on, but... they are such a great fit & really comfy not to mention they are a size 5/6!!!!! I can't tell...

I had my 6 week post-baby check-up....

I had my 6 week check-up Wednesday. The appointment ended up being over an hour & half long. After a check of my incision site, a breast exam, trying to get my toenails to touch the top of my foot...
