Nikki is one of Stockholm’s most prolific deep/soulful house profiles. Her style is in a spiritual vein, moving through r'n'b, latin sounds and afro-jazzy vibes. In 2001 she got her first tastes of dj:ing and soon fell in love with deep house, a style of music that was rarely exposed in her native hometown of Stockholm. In 2004 she got involved with Stockholm dj network "Sister Sthlm" and their club "Eklektik".
Nikki has since then been playing at one of Stockholms biggest house clubs, â€Gobang!", landing her own residency at Berns terrace in the summer of 2006 and hosted the Midweek Soul nights @ Centro in the fall of 2006. In the spring of 2007 she was involved in organizing club SoulMates, a branch of the popular underground London club night with the same name. Between February 2007 and August 2008 she also upheld a residency at Anglais hotel, one of Stockholm's most frequented bars, in the central part of Stockholm. Some of the other venues she has played in Stockholm are Marie Laveau, Spy Bar, Grodan, Inferno and Clarion.
Nikki has also guested venues like One Happy Cloud and Loop bar (Athens, Greece) and played alongside acts such as Ame and Quentin Harris. At the end of 2008 Nikki teamed up with talented guitarist Jacob Ansved to fuse the two worlds of live music and deep house, resulting in the project Deep Live! and a successful night at bar Ohlsons Video in Stockholm. In March 2009 also Nikki graduated from the Audio Production Program @ Sound engineering College SAE and is now in the midst of creating and producing her own original music.
Apart from working as a dj, Nikki is an established reviewer/journalist for Sweden's biggest alternative Music Magazine, Sonic Magazine. .
