My Bio
Born in Williamsport, PA, I have been writing well over half my life. Living in over 5 stares in my short time on this earth, most of my time was spent in the Mid-Western State of Michigan. Growing up in Ypsilanti, MI, back when it still had a 313 area code; as a little boy, I hated rap music. Crazy how life is aint it? I heard two stories of how I got the name Nuk („Duke with a N no E“), I’m going to roll with the one about the beer bottle. My cousins gave me the name when I was 2, an the rest....is what it is.
I start rapping as a hobby, but found out something about myself along the way. I Love Music! It runs in my blood, literaly. My grandfather, Frank Vick plays a few instruments and has played in a few bands for a few known names in the south. Oh yea, he is deaf in one ear and cant read music either. So my influences to do what I do, are the people who do what I do. Everybody from GodSmack, Run DMC, Bestie Boys, S.O.A.D., Jimmy Hedrix, Al Green, Ohio Players, DreamTheater, Earth-Wind & Fire! I just like people who make good music.
