Hey!!
We're cottonwood from Vienna/Austria and we rocks the austrian stages since 2005. we began to play their music in stinky and wet cellars but time after time the shows became oftener and bigger.
At the beginning we were a group of four teenagers who were barely able to play their instruments. After two changes of the band formation, the time was ripe for the first gig. As a three-guys-combo (Andi/Drums, Martin/Guitar, Patrick/Bass) we did our first 15 shows.
Since the middle of 2007, we're on the road again as a four-headed rock-monster. Daniel joined the band with his groovy and catchy guitar playing. With him joining the band the style also changed... the initial Pop-Punkrock became an Alternative/Punk/Hardrock-mixture that makes the audience sometimes headbanging, sometimes moshing and sometimes thinking but always remember:
"You can't describe cottonwood... you need to book us, hear us, see us, love us!!"
We wanna say thanks to all the people who come to our shows and support us. thanks for hearing and loving us.... and for buying merch :)
