Crew 22 is a production/songwriting team made up of Rodney Lawson and John Mattick who frequently collaborate with lyricist and other songwriters nationwide. They specialize in writing songs, composing underscore and recording tracks for use in film, television and computer games. John and Rodney's credits include a 2004 Grammy nomination. John and Rodney have also done work for CBS/Paramount Television, Fox Television, Lifetime Movies, 1999 and 2001 NEA meet the composer grants, have done dance, urban and extended remixes for numerous artist and the 1995 NBA Finals theme. Crew 22's music can be heard on the Scifi Channel, the Style Network, the Oxygen Network, the Entertainment Channel, the Lifetime Channel, The Discovery Channel, HGTV, CNN, ESPN and A&E. Crew 22 has also worked with AT&T Wireless to create original ringtones for AT&T Wireless devices worldwide. John and Rodney have been fortunate to have worked with recording artists such as Alabama, Kirk Franklin, the Righteous Brothers, Olivia Newton-John, Warren Haynes, John Michael Montgomery, Areatha Franklin, Darenda Owens, Clinton Gregory, Jimmy Fortune and David Lee Murphy.
