About Mens' Brief Stories (MBS)
In the summer of 2006, while I was performing in Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, backstage debates on the topics of men, women, and relationships occurred often due to the nature of the play. From those discourses, I felt it was an opportunity to write about the average man's point of view on life, love, and the daily grind in a storytelling style.
Just So You Know...
I usually create a name that reflects what theater/film project I'm doing, otherwise it is Ricks Place of Ill-Sense of Humor. When I'm free between projects, my calendar is open to do any whimsical activity. For my 9 to 5 life, I'm an IT consultant working for a global corporation. Other than that, there isn't much to say about myself. You can find other vital statistics on me from the other panels.
And Finally...
I try to keep my profile page simple. I want you to enjoy reading my material and not get a headache from an overzealous use of images, graphics and colors.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Since I'm single, obviously women , duh. I would love to meet ladies with interests in many areas such as fine art, music, theater, film, TV, comedy, and... believe it or not... sports.

I like to meet people with various tastes and views . Life would be boring otherwise, don't you think?

Though we were class mates many years ago, I would like to catch up with my old Emerson College friend Denis Leary (FX Rescue Me star). He probably wouldn't remember me now, because we were party animals back then. All I can say is, he hasn't changed much since college.

Next person would be Billy Shakespeare . I would prefer to meet him during his time. I would love to see the troupe's reaction to lines like "my tongue in your tail" from Taming of the Shrew. (Apparently no censorship, at least outside of the city limits.)

Next is Tom Hanks , cuz he's only a few days older than me. The guy is just an amazing actor.

Finally, the most important being, Jesus . I want to ask him what were his thoughts when his mom told him to make wine from water at the wedding in Cana.
