About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

I am a 34 year old husband and father. My wife's name is Meghan and my daughter's name is Elsie. We also had a son born to us in the beginning of July. We also have a crazy little dog named Baxter, he is a Jack Russell. We live in Annapolis, Md, a beautiful city with plenty of creeks and rivers to enjoy out on the boat. My wife and I have grown up around here, and though we have lived other places over the years we ended up finding our way back home. My wife is a stay-at-home mom, which is so important to us as a family. I graduated from a Merchant Marine Academy and went to sea for a few years out of New Orleans. I got my Captain's license and then decided I was gone too many days out of the year. So I decided to still work in the maritime field but now for the DoD over in DC. My wife and I love to travel, scuba dive, go out on the boat in the Chesapeake Bay, be with friends and family, and have time just to ourselves to get cozy and watch a movie. To see some more pix of us go here, updates happen throughout the year: http://www.geocities.com/jstubbs444/Our_Family.html

My Interests

We love to travel, go boating, camping, scuba diving, going to amusement parks, hanging in the back yard with some frinds having a cookout, and I like to do a little homebrewing of a drink called beer.

I'd like to meet:

We love meeting new friends, especially ones who love to travel and enjoy the outdoors and have a good time. Our friends are people who believe a solid family relationship is the most important thing in the world.

Music:

Meghan loves country and I dislike it for the most part. We both like Buffett of course. I usually listen to whatever is on the radio, not buying too many CD's anymore. Have to say one of my favorite bands is the Foo Fighters though. I like rock, jazz, and my all time favorite decade, the 80's.

Movies:

We love movies, I have a huge collection. Of course I like Action, Adventure, Comedy, Sci-fi, Horror, and some old War movies. On the other hand my wife loves Romantic comedies, but she does also enjoy a good Action, Adventure, and sometimes Sci-fi flick.

Television:

We have a DVR, the best invention ever. We love to watch Lost together. I like the shows Bones, Numbers, and CSI. My wife likes Gray's Anatomy and Desp Housewives.

Books:

We love the The Lord of the Rings books and The Chronicles of Narnia. My favorite author is Clive Cussler, while my wife likes Nicholas Sparks. She just read "The Glass Castle" and highly recommends it.

Heroes:

Watch out world, our boy has arrived
