FIGHT APATHY!... or don't.

About Me

I love movies, plays (anything to do with acting really) and I spend way too much time on this site. Go ahead and give me a good talking to if you'd like. I'm very discreet but I will haunt your dreams.

My Interests

loving the Islanders and hating the Rangers with a burning passion, acting, playing ice, roller, and street hockey, being a dirty hippie, reading about serial killers, drug addicts, legendary hockey players and Batman, listening to music, watching movies and TV, and, of course, napping!

I'd like to meet:

DUBIE! *clap-clap* DUBIE! *clap-clap* WITTER, ASH, PARKIE & DP

Music:

Two Man Advantage, The Beatles, Rob Zombie, Reverend Horton Heat, Ministry and Primus among many others but I'll give a listen to pretty much anything you can name at least once.

Movies:

Slap Shot, Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, GoodFellas, The Unknown, Requiem for a Dream, American History X, the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, Pulp Fiction, The Man with the Golden Arm, Citizen Kane, Rocky (they're all good but the first one's just plain awesome), Glengarry GlenRoss, The Departed, Alpha Dog, 300, anything having to do with Pixar and oh, so many more but I'll just stop here.

Television:

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Scrubs, The Simpsons, Miami Ink, The Sopranos, The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Lost, That 70's Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Frasier, and of course anything concerning my New York Islanders.

Books:

Lullaby, Choke, Othello, Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On Serious Earth... yeah those are pretty much all the books I've ever read. But feel free to suggest a book or nine (keep in mind I'm always looking for good graphic novels because I am a huge nerd).

Heroes:

Wade Dubielewicz, John Lennon, Rob Zombie, Lon Chaney, my sister Jamie, my little (that's right, LITTLE!) brother Nolan, my cousin Bryan and the Wonder Pets Lon Chaney 4/1/1883 - 8/26/1930 Bela Lugosi 10/20/1882 - 8/16/1956 Lenny Bruce 10/13/1925 - 8/3/1966 Terry Sawchuk 12/28/1929 - 5/31/1970 Jim Morrison 12/8/1943 - 7/3/1971 John Lennon 10/9/1940 - 12/8/1980 Andy Kaufman 1/17/1949 - ?/??/???? The Ballad of Ricky Dubie...

The Islanders signed Dubie to a one year one-way NHL contract which means he can't be sent down to the minors unless he wants to be which means Dunham's out and Dubie is DP's back-up next year!  ...

It's over.

The Islanders season ended last night in really the only way it could, with the Isles fighting until the very last second.  Miroslav Satan was robbed with just over 10 seconds left by a spectacul...

Best... Easter... Ever!

That was seriously the best hockey game I've ever seen!  This Islanders season has been better than Lost; it's the most gripping show on television.  Quite honestly, I don't think ...

Who Called It?

Everybody was doubting Snowy saying hiring him as GM was a joke.  People were saying this was destined to be the worst season in Isles' history.  Even my Islander fan friends were expecting ...
