"...I began, as though speaking in a dream, hardly aware of what I was doing, to utter the words 'Nam-myoho-renge-kyo,' and so I chant them now. In the end, is this a good thing I do, or a bad thing?"

If you're not particularly fond of the song you're hearing right now, just hit the refresh button on your browser, and another one of these songs will load. You're sure to like one of them.

Being affectionately dubbed Bodhisattva Inspiring by my closest friend, I try every day to live up to my new name. At this point in time, I have a great amount of ambition regarding all everyday matters, particularly regarding all matters of the heart. I've been working as a senior customer service representative for over three years [for an unnamed bank; I don't want to hear it], and I also play drums with a simple, yet individual style and have found it to be one of my true passions.
Dance break.
And I'm back.
I like to keep a well-structured writing regimen, so I highly suggest you check out my blogs whenever you get a chance. I like to read, wax philosophical [but not TOO seriously] and share my views on life, as well as attaining the point of view of others. I've always liked to sing, but have only been able to maintain this career of a drunk karaoke singer. So if you like to drink beer and scream into a microphone, holla at ya boy. You know where I'll be.
I play drums, bass, and guitar [enough guitar to get me by], I dig computers, and I'm down for gear that has bells and whistles [i.e. my phone with Windows XP loaded on it]. Just give me some flashy gear with an ample amount of balls, and I'm happy.
I have many passions and a love for finding common ground with others, so if you see anything on my page that might pique your interest, let me know and we'll do it up right.

By the way...
Addison.
This guy has exceeded every expectation I've had and then some. A funny guy with keen sarcastic wit and true perception, he's the embodiment of what a "true friend" should be.
So drink some beers with this guy. It's on me.
Andrew.
Apparently, he loves Amy more than you love your stupid MySpace bulletins.
But seriously, he's got a lot going for him, is one hell of a musician, and is the poster-boy for modesty, in my opinion.
Couldn't ask for a better brother.
Erin.
Her hair is intimidating, her heart is the size of a three story house, and she has an incredible lifelong fighting spirit that continues to inspire me day after day.
Good or bad, happy or sad; no matter what happens, this woman saved my life. Straight up.
Erik.
I've never really paid attention to how red one's hands become when you play rock/paper/scissors, but he really packs a punch.
One more thing: it may behoove you to watch your wenis around this dude. So wear long sleeves.
SGI Albuquerque.
While the Soka Gakkai International has over 12 million members in over 190 countries, it is a truly connected organization. This page is dedicated to the members here in my hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
So check it out. You might actually dig what you see.
Cindy.
I believe that there are few things more beautiful than the resilience of old friendships, and this one is certainly something special.
She has come a long way since I've met her, and I'm truly proud of her endeavors.
Jenny.
If you haven't had the pleasure, then you're truly missing out. She's got great musical taste, seethes lifelong fidelity, and is a good friend to have.
Besides, this woman is the first person I've ever met that can actually lick their own elbow. Sweet holy crap, Batman.
Dominic.
This entertainer can wholeheartedly share my love for spastic facial contortions and farts that make you scream in pain.
Oh, and hit him up if you ever feel like having your ass whomped at Far Cry. It's ridiculous how good he is.

My Blog

Winter Barbeques.

Barbeques in the cold really aren't that bad. Last night's barbeque, although a bit cold, was still filled with the same friends, family, and fellow members. I miss summer barbeques, mostly for the ab...

The Daily Grind.

Well look who decided to write again. While I haven't necessarily found my daily grind to be mundane in any sort, I've noticed that the repetition of the working week, although sometimes boring, has p...

The Visual Depiction.

So for those of you who found my other blog to be too long or heavy to read, here's the cheeky lighthearted version of what my past week has been like. Having a needle in your neck makes you make a fa...

A New Light.

Have you ever faced your own death? This time, I can honestly say that I have. I know people who have had close calls with heart attacks and strokes, and my ailment was a little more than just an infe...

Enshrined.

I enshrined my first Gohonzon today with Erin. It was awesome. I know that it's not a super-huge deal or anything, but I thought it was a pretty cool thing to experience. My friend Cindy, after much a...

The Sickness.

Get down with the sickness. Well, at least I am. You know, I don't really ever get sick that often anymore, but I have to tell you that when I do get sick, I get sick. It seems as though my illne...

The Mexican Aisle.

As I was passing through Smith's at like 6:30 at night, the busy time, that store was thrashed. People were in and out of the aisles, scurrying and rushing to get home in time for dinner, but I couldn...

Al-cuh-muh-hol.

I only have one thing to say: "HORRAY BEER!!" I really don't know why, but I've always been a beer drinker, and will take that in lieu of the firewater any day. I basically classify "firewater" as bei...

Sixty-Two Hours.

In the month of August, I chanted sixty-two hours of daimoku. Yeah, that's quite a bit. I said the words "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo" for two hours a day, every day, in the month of August. It's been a while...
