I'm guilty as charged, I've led people on, I've lied, I've done things I shouldn't have, I've broken hearts, I've failed to be true, to be me, to be real. Once in a while, I'll sit in my room and I'll wonder: how much it would take until I realize, how cruel I've been to the world. I've walked away from the suffering, I've left people in need behind, I have no right to say, that I've been doing them justice, because fact is, I'm not as generous as I make myself to be. I'm truly, a selfish human, inhumane, in disguise, hiding behind my smiles, my laughter and giggles. I've been cheated and I've cheated back, I've taken so much, and I've given little, when I get lost, I expect too much from people, I become inconsiderate, forgetting that people don't always know everything, my perfect world, was just a figment of my imagination, I'm not really me, I scare myself sometimes, because beneath my thick wall, I'm screaming, I'm wanting so much more than I'm getting, and I know, and I see, I'm really lying to myself, I'm not okay, I'm never okay. Maybe a disorder is lingering at the pits of my soul, maybe my psychotic self is trying to keep myself from exploding, trying to keep me sane when I'm really falling apart. I look in the mirror and I just want to scream, because I can't figure out, who the stranger across from me really is, it kills me, knowing that my reflection can lie to me so well. I'm not nice, I'm not kind, I'm just a demon, hiding behind a stranger's smile.
