Anything that has to do with race, racism, race issues. Psychology books. Here are some suggestions:The Isis Papers by Francis Cress Welsing (I dont agree with some of the stuff in it but it'll make you think)//// Even the Rat was White* //// Racism in Psychology* //// White Racism* ( there are 2 book with the same title but both are good) //// The White Image in the Black Mind*//// I Was Born a Slave by Yuval Taylor //// Why are All The Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafateria? by Beverly Daniel Tatum ////Those are the ones I remember reading.////*Don't remember the author and I don't feel like looking them up on amazon
I dont have any heroes. Hero is too strong of a word.I don't idolize people in that way because it makes them seem untouchable and takes away the human factor. I want to know that they had and have problems and struggles. That is what makes me want to look to them for inspiration and motivation. So some people I admire are my moms and my aunt (they know the meaning of struggle). I recently added Dame Dash(because of his hustle) and Jay-Z (same reason) to the list, Kenneth Clark (google him) and thats all I can think of even though there are more.
