I am here for Friends

About Me

Whats up, I'm Caleb, I'm 17, and live in the middle of nowhere in Georgia. I have one of the strangest group of hobbies which include Movies, XCM, and magic.~Movies- Been watching them since I was like 4 years old. The first films I saw were Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones, and Jaws. I have seen them so many times, I can literally quote just about every line from them. Nowadays, I watch Slasher/horror films for the interesting plots, and for the rush. Also, the gorier the film, the better. The only thing I hate seeing is when someone gets their Achilles tendon sliced ( ex. Kill Bill, Hostel, Urban Legends, ect. ) Other than that, everything thing else in slasher films is pretty sweet. I also love action, adventure, comedy, drama, and true stories.~ XCM- Known as Xtreme Card Manipulation ( such as fans, cuts, shuffles, arm spreads, etc. ), I love this art due to the extreme skill it requires to do. Years ago, it was noted as card flourishes, but it became it's own artform with the help of the Ulmen 4, De'vo vom Schattenreich, Jerry Cestkowski, and perhaps countless others. I've been practicing this art for about a year now, and I'm loving it! Once a year, the most difficult challenge of XCM takes place in the small town of Ulmen Germany. There are like the Olympics, but for XCmers, called the Ulmen Trials. The trials consist of 13 challenges, each harder than the last. Ever since it started, no one, not even the pros, have ever completed the trials. I would like to attend the trials in 2015, giving me plenty of time to prep. To give you an idea of how hard the challenges are, you must be able to perform a one handed shuffle in each had, while your hands or tied behind your back and blindfolded. CTG routine, shuffle a deck of cards using your feet, ect. It's hard as hell to do this art, but fun when you get it :).M~agic- Started doing it at the age of 4, and never stopped. Although it sounds corny, I actually really enjoy doing it. My goal when performing is to attempt to make all of ones worries stop for a minute or two, and try to show them something that they enjoy. The only reason I do this is for others, I don't do it for myself. If I could only show myself this stuff, I'd get bored as hell because I know the method behind the effect. Plus I've made quite a bit of money performing, and I might have a shot of getting a gig at a restaurant. So for me, this hobby is just for fun, I love seeing people shocked when I do some effect. If I can make someone amazed or flabbergasted, it's the greatest compliment I can get, and I know it was worth the effort and money it took to do. Other than that, I'm just an easy, down to earth kid, just trying to have some fun. If I'm not watch my movies, I'll be hanging with my buds. Thats all there is to know about me.
