Quotes that I'm currently preoccupied with:1) "It ain't about who ya love. It's all about 'do ya love?'"--"Do Ya Love"--Song written and performed by Michael Franti and Spearhead 2) "You can't always pay your debts to the people you owe them to. You gotta pay when you can to whoever's around. Try to keep the books straight." Over There--Series created by Steven Bochco and Chris Gerolmo, Suicide Rain episode teleplay by Salvatore Stabile3) "Some editors are failed writers, but so are most writers."--T.S. Eliot 4) "For me, love is very deep. Sex only has to go a few inches."--Bullets over Broadway--Woody Allen and Douglas McGrath Screenwriters 5) "Let us leave pretty women to men devoid of imagination."--Marcel Proust
Create Your Own! I'm a filmmaker 5 years out of the film school at Loyola Marymount University. I'm not lying when I say that I am "an internationally recognized, award-winning filmmaker," but if you know anything about the entertainment industry, you know that sounds a whole lot cooler than it really is. Currently I'm working as a DVD Author at a small company called Elektrofilm in Burbank, which I'm enjoying because for once in my life I'm actually paying my bills on time. I try to keep my hand in as much creative stuff as possible, but you'd be surprised what counts for creative in my mind. And lastly, I'm an all out karaoke junkie. I've been singing no less than once a week for at least the last year and a half, and I've been going 2 or 3 times a week now for the last several months or so. It's a bizarre addiction, but I've got a small and treasured group of friends who share the same addiction. Where else could you be not only encouraged, but rewarded for screaming at the top of your lungs? Anyway, I hate writing about myself so I'll stop here.
