About Me

My name is Mike, or Team Vodka, Jeagerman, 12-step, or among other alcoholic slurs. I am 24 and I am a aspiring movie script writer. As everyone tries to say "there is a lot to know about me that can't be summed up in one paragraph", there is however a very simple quote that can sum up a portion of my personality "Absorb what is useful, Discard what is not, Add what is uniquely your own" -Bruce Lee. Several things that are important to me but by no means encompass all that is me.

Most important in my life are my friends, Jesse, Adan, Foster, Eric, Sunny, Ishmail, Stephanie, Amy, Andre, Jeremy, Lindsay, Danny, Schwindy, Nicoleioli, and I know I'm leaving some people out, these people are the best and could never be replaced...unless Jesse gave me 10K to off someone.

My script, for the people that are close to me they know about this and for people that have found out what has been written just from word of mouth, I have finished my first script with the help of two friends, we will be shooting by soon and I have many more scripts in the works.

As far as my history is concerned I learned very early in my life that falling down made girls laugh, so I learned to fall early in my life and fall a lot I did in both a literal and metaphoric sense.

Beyond that I grew up in the military, born sadly in South Dakota of all places but was only there for a year; lived in Okinawa, Japan for 10 years; Wichita Falls, TX; Houston, TX; and about half a dozen close proximity cities in Arizona for the past 10 years or so. Went to high school at Highland, played football ever since my pop warner well into high school as a middle linebacker.

Currently live in Chandler, AZ; usually at home writing my script or at the bar with friends, anything else shoot me a message.

My Interests

Music, movies, making drinks, spouting off into random rants when I am drunk, informing the world masses on how wonderful pandas are, hanging out with all of my friends, movie script writing, working on my Supra. I am just an all around guy that really does not give a fuck what he says and will do anything for a laugh.

Music:

I consider music a large portion of my life, I can be very picky on the music I listen to but respect all types of music that at least utilize instruments or some sort of lyrical ability. Bands that I listen to are Spineshank, Silent Civilian, Norma Jean, As I lay Dying, Zao, Through the Eyes of the Dead, All that Remains, Killswitch Engage, Kidney Thieves, Dillinger Escape Plan, In Flames, Soilwork, Me Without You, Dredge, Blood has Been Shed, and It Dies Today....I'm sure I'm skipping a few. I take pride in finding smaller bands that eventually become big (Started listening to Killswitch Engage when Jesse was the vocalist, this was before Howard took over.

Movies:

I love watching movies, favorites include Rounders, Thank you For Smoking, Vanilla Sky, High Fidelity, Waiting, Almost Famous, 25th Hour, 100 Girls, Good Will Hunting, Office Space, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Boondock Saints, Running Scared, Underworld, Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Professional, Formula 51, Super Troopers, Butterfly Effect, The Game, Any Given Sunday, Brick, Casino, Cruel Intentions, Hollywoodland, The Departed, The Illusionist, L.A. Confidential, Memento, 40 Year Old Virgin. Revolver, Snatch, Man on Fire, Mr. and Mrs. Smith....I could keep on going with this list.

Television:

That 70's Show, 24, Scrubs, Friday Night Lights, Heroes, Family Guy, American Dad, The Unit.

Heroes:

Never really had any heroes that I could say drove me and/or inspired me....I prefer to write my own path.
