The Empirical Souljahs (EMP) form a group of five lyrical individuals. Slim, C, Zo, Big Dice, and Eights. In Hood terms, "We rappers man." We produce, engineer, record, master and distribute our own records. Our label is Hitter Quitter Records (HQR).History Lesson: EMP was founded by Marvel Norwood and Anthony Kelley in the Summer of 1997. Since '97 we have worked diligently to expand our operations and increase our work force. As of 2005 we are the rightful owners of HQR and Holla at Ya Peoples Entertainment (H.Y.P.E). HQR currently has several artists on its label. Those artists include Wale (solo rap / hip hop artist), the Blunted T.H.U.G.S (Lil Sie, Splicha...), Lil Nik (female rap artist) and Kedrick (Rhythm and Gangsta artist). Slim is the CEO, C is the Co-CEO, Zo is CFO MeatMan resides as the Ceo of Promotions and Public Relations. "we treat dis rap shit like a business.
