About Me

CANADIAN FRINGE THEATRE TOUR 2008! Read reviews here:
"Grab some pals, have a few drinks and spend an evening with these folks for a good ol' knees up - Grade A" - Winnipeg Uptown Mag
"If Tim Burton were British and played klezmer music, perhaps he would have produced a show like this" - CBC
"Good, cheeky fun makes for a too-short hour with Inflatable Buddha" - Winnipeg Free Press
"this production has the goofy good-time vibe that Fringers seek" - Saskatoon Star Phoenix
"'quirky' is a tattered term run ragged by Fringe overuse. But it could easily make a comeback with this enjoyable oddity" - Edmonton Journal
INFLATABLE BUDDHA was born in autumn 2003 at a local bastion of live music in Oxford, the Exeter Hall. There we spotted our future namesake, perched serenely on a shelf by the tv. Since then we've been lots of places: the Big Green Gathering, Oxford Folk Festival, The Zodiac, Holywell Music Room, Grove House, Cowley Road Carnival, Catweazle, Oxford Arts Week, the Fire Gathering, Wychwood Festival, Glastonbury, Canada... We've also played on the roof of a houseboat, in an allotment and in an art gallery (but not all at the same time). Send us a message if you'd like us to come and liven up your festival, bandstand, birthday, wedding, funeral, divorce or bar mitzvah!
