It's very rare that a video makes me cry but this one did. It just shows what can happen when someone loses their self control because of an addiction that they are in denial about and another person tries helping them out but it ended bad because they didn't want to change.
I would love to meet someone who is always completely honest and NEVER LIES or tries to HIDE anything from me. Someone who has a good head on their shoulders and who makes smart responsible decisions in their life. Someone who understands the importance of financial responsibility and staying out of collection debt and knows that making bad financial decisions could end up severely hurting them in the future as well as any kids that they may have and whoever they marry because it could affect them all. Someone who TAKES FAULT IN EVERYTHING THAT THEY DO WRONG INSTEAD OF ALWAYS THROWING THE BLAME ON ANOTHER PERSON and doesn't let their PRIDE come in the way of SAYING THEIR SORRY. Someone who doesn't put guilt trips on me for not doing what they want me to do. Someone who will not try to control my life by telling me who I can and cannot talk to, hang out with, or just general socialize with. Someone who would TRUST IN MY LOVE FOR THEM and know that if I went out somewhere without them that I love them too much to go out and find someone else. Someone who would NEVER HIT me. Someone who would NEVER CHEAT on me. Someone who DOESN'T DO ANY KIND OF DRUGS OR ABUSES MEDICATION OR ALCOHOL. Someone who would put me first in my time of need instead of being selfish and always putting the attention back on them. Someone who would be understanding, loving, caring, selfless, and sensitive. Someone who KNOWS THE TRUE MEANING OF LOVE AND SHOWS IT AT ALL TIMES. Someone who is willing to meet me halfway on all things and are able make decisions based on what they want to do as well as compromising with me. Someone who can be independent and be able to lean on me in certain times they can't be. Someone who would ALWAYS TRUST in me and never second guess me. Someone who would have an open mind and be willing to listen to any advice or opinions that I might have about their life because I am trying to help them. Someone who wouldn't misunderstand my intentions when I try to help them or give them advice and make out like I am trying to be their mother instead of someone who cares and is just trying to help. Someone WHO WOULD WANT TO CHANGE THEMSELVES FOR THE BETTER AND GET THE HELP THEY NEED if they need it because they know they need to do it for themselves and for themselves only, unless they have a child then they would change for the child because CHILDREN DESERVE A PARENT WHO WOULD STOP AT NOTHING TO SEE THEM HAPPY AND WOULD GO TO ANY LENGTHS TO BETTER THEMSELVES so that their child would have a BETTER PARENT. Someone who WOULD NEVER SAY THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEMSELVES, THEIR CHILD, THEIR LIFE, THE PERSON THEY WERE ENGAGED TO AND ANYONE ELSE THAT LOVES THEM, OR THEIR JOB. Someone who would never take me or our relationship for granted. Someone who would never stick around because of convience. Someone who would NEVER USE ME. Someone who WOULD STILL BE THE PERSON I FELL IN LOVE WITH IN THE BEGINNING AND NOT CHANGE AFTER THE NEWNESS OF THE RELATIONSHIP WORE OFF. Someone who will say I love you at random times each day without having a reason. Someone who would say I LOVE YOU BECAUSE THEY FEEL THE SAME WAY not because they just say it so I won’t get mad if they don’t. Someone WHO SAYS THAT THEY FELL IN LOVE WITH ME TO ACT LIKE SOMEONE WHO REALLY HAS. Someone whose ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN THEIR WORDS. Someone who would put AS MUCH EFFORT into a relationship as I am and NOTHING LESS OR NOTHING MORE. Someone who would go to ALL LENGTHS to save our relationship if we were on the brink of ending it instead of giving up.Take the chances that are thrown at you. Live your life as if today is your last. Take nothing and no one for granted because you could lose it all in the blink of an eye. And most importantly remember, you can only change yourself and that’s what I did. Nobody can change unless they truly want to and no matter how hard you try to help someone fix there life and try to influence the decisions they make so they can live a good life IT IS NEVER GOING TO WORK UNLESS THAT PERSON WANTS TO CHANGE! If someone is going down the wrong path in life and you feel like their decisions could possible end up killing them don’t beat yourself up if that does happen because it is not your fault. A person can only try to help someone until they get to their breaking point where they have done everything that they can to make someone realize the mistakes that they are making and that person has exhausted all options and have used everything in them to help someone change then there should be no blame on themselves if someone chooses to ignore all the help that was offered and all of the warnings and ends up ruining their life or dying. At this point it’s best to just leave it in God’s hands and have hope and faith that this person will turn their life around. In the end we each have control of our own lives and the decisions we make. Life is a game of choices. You can make one wrong choice that leads you down a path of destruction that leads to more bad choices and decisions, but it only takes making ONE RIGHT CHOICE to get back on the right track and that is taking the steps to getting the help that you need. In the end only you yourself have the power to change your life. No one else can do it for you but you. But you have to want to change deep down in your soul and never want to go back to being that other person again in order for you to completely be able to change. If someone looks back on how their life has been, the way they have been living it, the things that they’ve done and people that they have hurt, and sees that the path they were on has led them to nowhere then hopefully one day they will realize that this isn’t the life that they want to continue to have. If you always do what you have always done they you are always going to get what you have always gotten. I hope and pray that they realize that if they continue to live this way they are only going to hurt themselves, their child, and everyone that loves them and end up dead. They have gotten nowhere in life with the choices they have made and the way they have been and maybe one day they will wake up and realize that they can have a better life and be happy. But they have to truly want that happiness and take the steps to make it happen on their own. I’m leaving it in God’s hands to guide them.
I hope the person this was intended for reads it and reads it well. Remember you have the power to turn things around. It just takes making that one right choice to lead you down the right path. I have done all I can do. It’s up to you now. You have a lot of people praying for you. Just remember the shortest distance between you and God is from your knees to the floor. I love you with all of my heart and soul and don’t ever forget that.
