Band Members:In the beginning The Legendary Mastermind was nothing more than a DJ. Creating dozens of mixes for the streets, as well as evolving into songwriting, and production has lead TLM to becoming an arsenal- virtually a record labels dream come true. She creates a fresh hip hop vibe, mixed with a little bit of mellow alternative. Her lyrics, and delivery can be compared to that of MC Lyte, Common, Andre 3000, and Kanye West. "I try to tell a good story using vivid details, lyrical wizardry, & unconventional means of expression. With each song I write my intention is to just find a interesting way to get my point across, that can also be universally understood."
TLM's Demo compilation is truly one of a kind, presenting a never before heard sound. "What sets me apart from everybody else is my unique delivery, combined with my passionate writing, and off the wall production style. Although I can't really get in the studio to cut professional demo's I am still grinding to write the greatest freshman release ever. I like to stay ready so I don't have to GET ready!!"
Serving over 8 years as a DJ, she has spread a wide array music throughout the MidWest-- and most recently extending out to the East Coast. "New York City has been a unique experience so far. I just consider my experiences here as stepping stones to even bigger opportunities."
