Movies:

I typically like action/adventure movies, a smattering of comedies and a few romances. Some of my favorites include: Arabian Nights (Hallmark Edition), Emma (Gwyneth Paltrow version), X-Men, Ever After, K-Pax, Signs, Starship Troopers, Bedazzled (Brendan Fraser version), the Bourne movies, Children of Dune, Forrest Gump, Star Wars

Television:

Don't watch much TV these days. To fill up an hour or two, I'll watch Star Trek Next Generation and spin-offs. CSI Las Vegas and Miami are intriguing but can be depressing at times. I love Adult Swim's ROBOT CHICKEN. How can you not split a gut every time you watch this?

The typicals, of course: my family, our troops, those who put their lives on the line for others.

I also have to add a few significant personages: Brilliant scientists such as Albert Einstein, Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking. Luminaries in entertainment such as George Lucas, Stephen Spielberg and Walt Disney. Industrial innovators such as the Wright brothers, Robert Fulton and Henry Ford. Technology gurus such as Jack Kilby, Steve Jobs, and Bill Gates. Essentially, while I may not call them heroes, I admire people who have contributed to changing the world.
