About Me

I've been in the Navy for about 6 years now. I am an ABF2 (I work with Jet Fuel). I just transferred to San Clemente Island from Crete, Greece (I want to go back!!!) and I'm getting back into the swing of things stateside again. I'm off to the Renaissance Faires in my time off, or watching Star Trek to my hearts content!

My pirate name is: Mad Mary Kidd Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr! Get your own pirate name from piratequiz.com.

My Interests

Revelling in all that is Faire! I have too many other interests to really list here. If you can think of it, I've probably got at least a passing interest in it. I have at least 10 different projects going on right now as it is, so I suppose I also multitask rather poorly....

I'd like to meet:

Star Trek Cast, Crew, and Fans! I'd love to meet Terry Pratchett and Paul Kidby someday. I'm a big fan of their books and artistry. Out of the characters in the discworld books, I think I'd have to say Nanny Ogg, Granny Weatherwax, and Commander Vimes. Were he still alive, William Shakespeare.

Movies:

Star Trek, Discworld Animation, Lord of the Rings, Mists of Avalon, Ever After, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (the book and radio series and original movie are all great too), Monty Python(Life of Brian is my favorite)

Television:

Star Trek! Original Series is the best, but I have not missed an episode of anything trek. Simpsons I like sitcoms. They get me through the night while waiting to fall asleep. Monty Python's Flying Circus Red Drawf Fawlty Towers (I like British Comedy) Red Skelton Benny Hill

Books:

Anything and Everything from Terry Pratchett. I highly reccommend every single one of his books. Star Trek, Arthurian novels- the best so far is The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. I am also reading Terry Goodkind (great for anyone who loves lots of detail in a fantasy work. J.R.R. Tolkien's works, of course Dune Series Harry Potter Septimus Heap, (i know its a kids book, but it's still good reading nonetheless) Star Trek (I prefer the original Series, being a die hard trekkie) Mercedes Lackey Marion Zimmer Bradely (Mists of Avalon was excellent, and very addiciting)

Heroes:

Cohen the Barbarian and the Silver Horde!
