Dirty Rotten Bastards are a young, five piece up and coming hard rock band from Liverpool. The current line-up of the band has been together for around a year. In that time the band has made it's name in the local northwest scene playing gigs in popular venues in Liverpool, such as the Zanzibar and the Cavern. The most notable gig to date was at Jilly's Music Box in Manchester supporting American band Dirty Rig. The band also headlined the first band night to be held at The Tivoli Rock Club in Buckley, a venue made famous by massive acts like Oasis and Whitesnake. DRB draw thier influences from classic rock bands from the 70s and 80s, such as, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses and Motley Crue, to create their own original and contemporary sound. This sound can be heard on their new demo, which is avaliable at www.myspace.com/dirtyrottenbastards This new demo has gained rave reviews. The website MerseyMusic.org said, 'These are powerful songs for such a young band'. The same website also said that DRB 'are a band to see live, to really appreciate them, to get a feel for the sound and the image (a bit like Whitesnake with the flamboyance of Aerosmith)' Overall the band is going from strength to strength and playing anywhere and everywhere to gain a name for themselves in the northwest and beyond.Bullamakanka make ace music
