Hi all...what do you wanna know..??
Well,I am as it says somewhere here I am at present 42 years of age.I still party relatively hard,and I dont plan slowing down, just yet.Whether it be gigging or partying at some all nighter,Im usually somewhere.....
Bit of a night owl,me.I am only at my best when the suns gone down....I do a bit of DJING,transforming myself in to DJ WEIRDITUDE.I run a not so regular night/club/venue....at a PUB in CRYSTAL PALACE.The Evening is called ''BEGIN WITH SIMPLICITY''.Why call it that you ask...Well,because it is,always the best way to start,and then you can iron out the mistakes and problems,while still being in some kind of control....[This alas,has come to a bit of a rest period..err,due to a problem with the venue/landlords way of running tings]...SORRY !!But watch this space,we will be somewhere,somehow,soon...IRIE
What do I play...Well,I love my BASS DRIVEN,Progressive Breakbeats,and Electro..NEW SCHOOL,and OLD SCHOOL......
But on my CLUB NIGHT,Ting' I spin old and new DUB /ROOTS and Old Classic Reggae....
Up until mid way through 2006,I worked for the music industry.Not quite as interesting as it sounds as I was just involved with the distribution end of stuff.....Thats arranging huge ammounts of orders of new release cd's and vinyl,sorting out transportation,and all the lugging stuff about and shipping the goodies off to the stores...I did get some great Freebies,Bargains,and Discounted Purchases.... so,I cant moan too much...I handled some good stuff.A lot of the core,Independant music....BUT...Yes,the big But... I handed my notice in and became a GARDENER..in MAY 2006..
.....My love of everything natural and the calling to crawl around in the dirt,with the plants and creepy crawlies,Was just too strong to ignore.So I do that now.In my real job,and my private jobs..I GARDEN.And when Im not GARDENING,I do the voluntary CONSERVATION WORK ,ting'.....creating habitats,for da' animals.Caring for and planting tree's,and generally making environments better for people to stroll around.....See I told you I was a caring sort of fella' !!I live with my partner of 11 years,and plan a wedding soon...well,in the next one/two years...Just confirmed after years of waiting,2009.is the year!!
Its gonna be a PAGAN affair,as we both bow down to the ways of nature.Not worship ,just acknowledge NATURE,THE SEASONS,......Lifes cycle which we ,along with all living things are a part of....
I love nothing more than to spend an afternoon,at a place of sacred importance.STANDING STONES,STONE CIRCLES,or an ANCIENT WOOD/FOREST....Whats my personality.....Have I got one,well some would dissagree,but.......,I reckon I'm a decent sort of bloke.I do my best,at being approachable,but I can be a bit moody,so watch out....I'm a bit selfish ,sometimes...but who isnt....I believe we should all have an element of selfishness,as we must all keep something back for ourselves.....It doesnt mean we should be any less generous.My heart is full of love.My head is full of thought......I probably think too much. I am of reasonable intelligence.Love reading..Cant fill your head up with new stuff,if you cant read,eh...??
What do I look like,well I'm not one to speculate,on how others see me....
I'm just under 6ft tall.....I've got hair, .I've got a face....I dress in clothes for comfort,not for fashion.....Cant stand shallow people who dress to impress..!! You take me as you find me.....BOOTS,JEANS,T-SHIRTS,JACKETS....Thats me !!..I might even comb my hair for yo'...!!I can do smart though ,if the need arises..... HONEST....!!I treat all who cross my path, the same as I would intend to be treated....
