It is what it is, ya know, it just is what it is. WHAT?

About Me

Haven't changed this in a while so I guess I should go to town explaining myself. I'm a member of the best Air Force in the USA! I joined in August of '06 and have been getting my butt kicked everyday since; still love it though. I currently reside in Los Angeles and have a nice place right along the coast where I can see cruise ships passing from my kitchen window. I work in the civil engineering department where I hope to continue honing my engineering skills. I'm a graduate of the University of Texas and bleed orange. My degree was in architectural engineering, but I swear I'm still fun to talk to at times. Worked up in Dallas for a while for an awesome firm called L A Fuess. Got married not too long ago though it mostly seems like that because I'm gone all the time right now. Mostly just looking forward to spending some time at home with my wife and seeing where else life will take us. Other than that quick bio right there, things one should know of me include the fact that I like pepperoni on my pizza, rainbow sprinkles on my ice cream (chocolate sprinkles just aren't the same), whipped cream on my hot chocolate but not on my milkshakes, Texas hold 'em no limit, basketball, college football but not NFL, green more than red, up more than down, and happy rather than sad. If you need to know anything more, send me a message or post on my wall and I probably will respond to you within the next few months, though I make no promises.

I'd like to meet:

the guy who invented the cellphone to let him know that, through the innocent mistake of trying to improve communication amongst the human population, he actually is solely responsible for the degredation and dissipation of actual human interpersonal communication across the entire world and to thank him for personally destroying the last vital communication tool that people have amongst themselves: the face to face conversation.

Music:

I listen to everything from oldies to rap, classical to rock, and anything in between. I've been to a Metallica concert as well as a Justin Timberlake concert. I've been to a Backstreet Boys concert with my mom and been in mosh pits at a Korn concert. Basically, if it's playing, there's a good chance I like it.

So, as life would have it once again, Shop Drawings have become my life at work.  Shop Drawings, in their purest form, are true evil.  Essentially, they are another persons interpretation of...

2005 Revisited

So where to start.  I guess the only logical place to start would be January as it is the beginning of that year.  January started off with a bang in downtown Austin on 6th street with my be...
