Easy going personality...mixed with Let's Do This! mentality = I'm game for just about anything. I enjoy spontaneous acts of kindness, goofball-ness, learning, story-telling...and road trips to get a small fix for my wanderlust...............I like to look at a situation from more than one angle............I'm known to be level headed...unless someone is being so ridiculous &/or they're in my face (rarely happens). FYI: If you're messing with someone = I'm stepping in. I've done it before & I'll do it again. No one has a right to be hurtful to someone else...and I was far too quiet when it was happening to me as a kid.........From that decade I've learned how to use humor to counteract all the negative that was thrown my way...and lots of Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Steve Martin, John Candy, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Richard Pryor, Lily Tomlin, Gene Wilder, Madeline Kahn, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, Johnny Carson, Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, John & James Belushi, Eddie Murphy, Carol Burnett, Dabney Coleman, Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, Jonathan Winters, etc....... helped keep me laughing..................and wishing I could do the same thing someday......or at least write the skits = cuz that would be AWESOME!.....Depending on the situation, I can range from goofy to graceful.......I enjoy dressing for elegant occassions and when I want to feel more relaxed I wear something comfortable (which does not mean sloppy)..........I know I'm a bit of a character, so I usually sit back and watch a room of people to figure out how much Andrea to let out. I've just found out that this may not be the best route to take...so you're getting all or nothing...if you can't handle me, that's okay........ I love to people watch!..............................Starting at 4 or 5 years old - I've been singing with my family in churches which evolved into some community events later in life. I've enjoyed being a part of choirs & jazz ensembles in high school & college. Beyond singing, I like to write songs and can usually hear the tunes playing in my head. Maybe someday I'll share them with the world................ Growing up I was afforded the opportunity to run around the nursing homes & retirement centers that my dad owned or operated as the licensed Administrator. I've grown up around the elderly population and it really gave me a quick start in being comfortable in talking with people decades older than myself. I have a deep respect for the lives of those who can no longer take care of themselves...yet deserve to be treated with respect & given the best care for quality of life! Old grumpy farts are people too! LOL.................................. I was actually at Safeway the other day minding my business (looking for hummus) when an elderly gentleman asked me if I knew where the laundry detergent was. Standing in the deli section, I looked down at the signs and told him the aisle...he thanked me and moved on. Not 10 minutes later (hummus = found) I was going down the 'ethnic' aisle...cause I wanted to pick up some salsa...when an elderly woman asked me "Do you ever buy Asian food?" She proceeded to show me a shopping list that her neighbor friend (who couldnt get out of the house) had given her. We looked over the list and I helped her find the products...one of which was on the top shelf & she wouldn't have been able to reach it. She was very appreciative, then we parted ways & I headed toward produce............... WHY do I share this? Because it's small defining moments of life that we shouldn't pass up. We never know what's going on in a strangers (and sometimes our friends) life...and if we can help in even a small way like "Detergents on aisle 5" or "Here's the soy sauce!"...let's do it! (even if you forget to pick up the salsa).......OR you can blindly push through your selfish life & not care to see those you're ignoring. (I do not recommend the latter.)

The "Nyah and Ethan" love theme from M:I 2 is performed by Heitor Pereira on guitar. The Hans Zimmer Score is amazing, of course...I also like the faster version 'Nyah'.
