About Me

“A gleaming shimmering electro-disco romp” – was how one music journalist described iceHouse Project's unashamed assault on the UK gig circuit.Starting out raw and experimental and ending up polished and expertly produced by in-house wizards James Hockley and Paul Dakeyne, the massive vocal driven sound is a welcome change in the face of modern dance.Formed 8 years ago by founder member and charismatic front man Dan Bryan the collective has really evolved into a hybrid of talent, guaranteeing a rich source of fresh blood whenever it’s needed.Influences from their peers have been allowed to flow freely and the result on their debut album ‘Electrosexual’ is actually something quite unique. Whether it’s the combination of the girls and Dan vocally or the vast electronic musical soundscape created by James and Paul’s deftly woven production magic, iceHouse Project’s sound is very distinctive. From the throbbing pulse of To Magnifica and the massive electronic symphony that is ‘Now I Need You’ iceHouse Project does exactly what it says on the (rather flamboyant) tin.iceHouse Project is managed by Angel Artists; www.myspace/angelartists & www.angel-artists.com Contact [email protected]

Founded by Lead singer/songwriter Dan Bryan iceHouse has 4 core members. Dan, Dinky Dave (Keyboards Percussion) Steph Galbraith (Vocals) And Hungry Bob (Guitar) 5th member and production master Funkdroid remains firmly in darkness...Legendary producer/DJ Paul Dakeyne joined the team in 2007

Influences: Kraftwerk, The Buggles, Depeche Mode, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Faithless and New Order have all been mentioned in reviews. And we can't deny that we haven't nicked the occassional riff and made it our own. But only when nobody was looking. ..

Sounds Like: Sassy, trashy, nasty disco with spiraling, kerrangin' guitars and massive vocals from the girls & 6'5" frontman Dan.
