Went into the Marine Corp at 17 (with short stints in Puerto Rico, Norway & Germany), to Arlington, TX until college in High Point UNiversity for soccer and track. Graduated and left for adventure in Beaverton, OR then drove cross county to Manassas. Up to Long Island, back to Herndon, VA up to Long Island, down to Cary, NC (all with the same CA job). A year in NYC then back to VA then FL.... to catch my breath and head west.... and adventure...which is where I am now!You haven't lived til you've rolled in the Shag Wagon!!!!I stole this from Joe's website....It says: "Be very careful if you make a womancry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

This has changed a bit... I am looking to meet people to ride with, or meet at the trail, ride all day, and sit around a campfire telling lies all night. New pals. Adventures on my immediate checklist are a trip to Key West, then up to New Orleans, and across to New Mexico. So if you're at any of locations or on the way hit me up and let's ride!!!I want to meet people who are brave enough for a new adventure each weekend and are willing to physically punish their body in the name of fun. A hike up old rag, a four hour mountain bike ride, an all day hike in Shenandoah with the dogs, the American Indian Museum, sitting in a Indian Sweat Lodge, driving the RV to MT and Alaska, driving the RV anywhere really, sitting by a fire (outside preferably) just staring, contemplating our closeness yet in our own thoughts to be shared later, cooking together, I am lucky enough to be with someone who can just lay around all day ocassionally, capture my mind, go to Border's, separate to find what we want, then meet in the coffee shop and read out loud to one another, someone who will take me places I've never been and open my mind to new ideas, laugh out loud, alone and with me, enjoys sweat, dinner in, dinner out, wine on the beach, finding a new trail for us to exlore, finding a new adventure period, trying new food, someone who can tell me when i'm wrong and who will actually do so, someone i can respect, someone who can pack a bag and be on a plane or in a car in less than an hour, someone who can travel without packing a bag, someone who takes an hour (or two) to get ready, high maintenance yet low maintenance, someone who will teach me things and make me grow physically, mentally and spiritualy. Is this really too much to ask???? MORE OF THESE KINDS OF FRIENDSThis guy’s walking down the street and he falls in a hole. The walls are so steep he can’t get out. A doctor passes by and the guy shouts out, “Hey you, can you help me”? The doc writes a prescription, and throws it down in the hole and he moves on. Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts up, “Hey Father, I’m down in this hole, can you help me out?”. The father writes out a prayer and throws it down in the hole and moves on. Then a friend walks by. ”Hey Joe, it’s me can you help me out?”, and the friend jumps in the hole. The guy says, “What are you stupid? Now we’re both down here”. The friend says, “Yeah but I’ve been down here before and I know the way out”.
