My life in verse . . Finally released in eighty-eight Popping out a little late A life of hope, a view of grief The sightly thought of a broken leaf It's not been bad, not at all For I have played God's greatest fool Youth was fun and full of dreams And eating a few too many ice-creams Only time let diabetes settle in But that hasn't banished that cheeky grin Profound at school with big awards Classes were tight and bearing their swords Then alliances created in late dawn And life's youthful smiles were finally born With poison and wood and flames alike Even burning are skin on some old broken bike The smiles were high and so were the crew But as times pass by then so did the few And the entrance of others ignited the red Hearts that pumped and soon found dead Yet mine was alive and thumping still As her footsteps neared I went for the kill And broke an alliance for a bond much greater It only took courage to eventually date her Since then as dawn falls the silohettes form As two young caterpilars together transform
