On November 26th, 2008 Scott had a heart attack in the morning while making pumpkin pie with his daughter Kyra and her boyfriend. He fought really hard to stay alive the whole way to the hospital but it was too much for his heart to take and he didn't make it. Scott was a great person who would be friends with anyone. He supported the San Diego music scene with all his heart, made it to all teh shows he could, took many pictures and dedicated sleepless nights to his myweek magazine. He could never stop talking about all the talented musicians in San Diego or his family, the two things he loved most in life (other than superheros and star trek =P). Scott had a difficult time in live and a ton of bad luck as many might know but he loved being involved with the music scene and making his magazine very much. Hes an amazing man who loved everyone very much! The family wants to do something for his memorial that involves the San Diego music scene so we are looking for any help anyone can give us in finding a place for it or finding people to perform for him. San Diego, California 92110Scott and I, and a lot of other people, saw a lot of great shows and had good times at Desi's. So it's a very appropriate venue for his memorial. Many of his friends and favorite artists will be performing in his honor.To top it off, that evening is one our favorite shows - Acoustic Alliance at Brick by Brick.Scott is a founding member of PAADRT [Post Acoustic Alliance Denny's Round Table...pronounced PAY DIRT].
