Hometown Glory
..Well first of all welcome to those who are here on purpose, and for those who arent, why the hell are you still here? So here ya have it, the MYSPACE page I created in order to reach out to those friends and family members i dont see everyday..... I still live in Colorado with my fiance and my very very Beatiful baby girl KALLI JADE OWENS. I am a Staff Sergeant - E-6 and I have been in the service, (U.S. ARMY) now going on 8 years, I have served one 13 month combat tour in the middle east (IRAQ), served in 3 "in state" emergencies, 1 out of state (Hurricane Katrina-New Orleans) and been to Utah (winter olympics 2002), South Carolina, Wyoming, South Dakota x2, and Germany throughout my military career. I love my job, and I love my county. I am very patriotic, now more than ever....and there is nothing I have encountered in my career that I am ashamed of or question.....INCLUDING IRAQ. I hate to debate the war, and I hate to debate polotics......But i make these facts very clear ... that i am a Republican, and I KNOW what were doing in IRAQ is right. If you've never been there or had to send a loved one off to war, never smelled the fog of war, never seen those people beg you for food water or protection, never heard the hiss or crack of a enemy round fly past you, never felt 130+ degree heat, never held a wounded or dying brother, and you've never prayed every single day that GOD would get you home safe.....then you honestly have no right to say "this war is a mistake"....to stand up for a weak nation, to live by the code of GOD...to fight for those who cant stand on their own, and to break a dangerous foe's will to attack my family here in the U.S. is all well worth my fellow brothers dying. And dont use the same old line you learned from the Democrats...."this war is a lie, there were no WMD's in IRAQ, we're in a war for oil" cause no matter what BUSH said, we are fighting for all the right reasons....not HIS!!!!! That is my opinion and if you dont like it then leave my page, and sit at home watching more of the lying news programs you love. Or you can sit in front of a combat veteran soldier and tell him he fought for a lie! Didn't think so...SHUT YOUR MOUTH...now with all that said, enjoy my page people.....its because of soldiers who fought and died, that you enjoy this freedom.......NEVER FORGET THAT!!!!!
