.. laughing (more often than not at myself), friends- you are my family, music music music, travel (especially if there's no winter involved....and, i'm kind of a nomad- to date, i've called colorado, north carolina, new orleans, and south africa home...notice only one of those really involves snow and cold...), photography, random adventures, making out, mixtapes, fast cars (preferably of the german persuasion), driving way too fast in the aforementioned vehicles, volleyball, college hoops, denver nuggets (since waaaay back in the day- alex english and fat lever, anyone?) pretty much all football (GEAUX TIGERS!!!), battling (and beating) the IRS, sailing, bad tv, good books, people and conversations that make you think, dancing, brutal sarcasm, a perfectly poured guinness, chubby's at 3 am, meetings of the late night snickerdoodle society, social commentary (read: brutal sarcasm + peoplewatching), and supporting world takeovers by the people i love most....and did i mention laughing and having fun as often as possible?
so i'm kind of a brat sometimes (part of my charm, i swear!), and if i don't know you already, or you don't send me a message on this nonsense and tell me why on earth we should be friends in the world according to myspace, i'm not adding you....i'm up to meet everyone.....anyone.....my new favorite person....for however long that title lasts...my friends are beyond fresh and redefine good people, and i'm always on the lookout for more....if you love music...art...laughing...thinking...being...if you're passionate about something, and will at least stand behind it...we'll get along just fine. i've even befriended a duke fan recently, cuz aside from that very very fundamental opposition, we're cut from the same cloth....so what i'm saying is....i'll overlook almost anything if you're amazing enough otherwise :)..
yes, please! every day, all the time.... this is what makes me tick....i love it all, or most of it at least....and seriously....SOMEBODY GET ME A MANELINE!!! STAT!and tell me why can't i turn off my radio...RADIO...BUMS. pay attention to my family y'all... and here come the LORDZ (and QUEENZ) of FINESSE!!!!that's my fam!!!and last, but soooooo not least, please allow me to share that there are tables in the house right now, in a room full of vinyl....gyeahhhh!!!! life is gooooooooood!
too many to list, but i've been trying to teach people about the boondock saints and equilibrium forever, so if you haven't seen em....do. the quick and short list is as follows: action. comedy. sci fi. any combination of those.....or anything that involves vince vaughn, owen wilson, will farrell, or again, any combo.... ..
never ever EVERRRRRRR miss heroes or always sunny. other than that- entourage, greys, reno, and xoxo.gg :) really, who am i kidding, if i'm at home, the tv is prolly on...rotting my brain is very necessary decompression in my life!
the power of one, count of monte cristo, the descent, lamb by christopher moore (hilarious and brilliant!), davinci code, anything tolkein or jeffrey deaver, the alchemist (EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK!), and most definitely anything related to music, sociology, or anthropology- or a combo.... if it entertains or makes me think, i'll most likely enjoy it....and am very open to suggestions and contenders for new favorites......
