I'm beginning my 20 somethings. . .I didn't want to do this. But here I am and this is my plan: Making myself an icon through commodity fetish. If you can relate to me then we can relate to eachother. I can relate to you all if you only let me. We’ll play Socrates and pupil. The devil’s advocate is my hero. Let’s play all sides. . .together. I will become a copy for which there is no original. These natural copies are a version of a version of a version of something I recognize, we all recognize, but I know not the mould. Again and again I copy what I know, which is myself. . .I know I exist. Perhaps I want you to know the same. I continually borrow from the past to develop my path into the future. . .the image of the archive is my guide. Cataloguing my development is my mission whilst encouraging the counting of each minute. For I feel that existence is not trivial. . .there is purpose. There is interaction, reaction, repudiation, and acceptance. I want to provide that after school special that my generation all enjoyed around 3:30 everyday when we got off the bus. I want to facilitate enrichment. I want to inspire the future. “We were soldiers so that our children could be doctors and lawyers, so that their children could be artists and writers." It’s our turn. It’s got to be done from the start. . .that’s why I am where I am. I am the defunked, debunked, disenchanted doctor. . .turned art student eternal.I will be learning now for years. My words have developed far beyond my work, and though my English is poor, my thoughts are clear.I am for freedom to.Freedom to Express, Repress, Discuss, Disgust, Confuse, Confound, Correct. Recant Relive, Revive Relocate. Recreate.Love love love. coco
