I love my country; as dirty, corrupt, and poverty-stricken it is,... it still manages to find a way to survive and move on... whether from Spanish and American oppression, political tyrants, or natural disasters... only God knows how, but they find a way to make it through. ...so Janine and i went and picked out a Christmas tree with her fam... it was pretty cool. ...never been to a xmas tree farm before... it seemd like a total joy for people to go out there and pick their own tree to cut down, but then... at the same time it seemd so wrong. I know there are like hundreds others growing across the street but it just seemd a total waist to grow them, cut them down, use the tree for decor for like a month or two then, then throw them away... for $30! ?! idk... i prefer my 3-ft. artificial tree :)StuCo recently had a Re Carpet Night and it was phenomenal and everyone looked great! I FOUND AGAIN MY LOVE FOR THE PHILIPPINES AND HER PEOPLE. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE HER; IMPERFECT BUT BEAUTIFUL IN HER OWN WAYS.
