Bekay - Hunger Pains LP
DJ Dutchmaster is the founder and C.E.O. of Coalmine Records. It's through his upstart label that he gets to flex his dj muscle. Dutch first learned to DJ under the apprenticeship of DJ Topspeed while attending Indiana University. Since then, he has gone on to DJ alongside several acts ranging from DJ Vadim to the late Old Dirty Bastard to Mystikal to R.A. The Rugged Man. Dutchmaster made his vinyl debut in 2005 on the 12" record titled 'The Raw', where his DJ skills are featured alongside lyrical heavyweights Saigon, Inspectah Deck as well as Coalmine Records flagship recording artist, Bekay.
Dutch has since contributed his handywork to several other projects that include artists such as Doujah Raze, Sean Price, A.G., Kool G. Rap, Big Noyd, Large Pro, Juganot, Pumpkin Head, Torae, Skyzoo, DJ JS-1, Jak Daniels & Johnny Walker (Cold Heat Ent.), R.A. The Rugged Man, Shabaam Sahdeeq, The Demigodz (Apathy & Celph Titled) among others.
Currently, Dutchmaster is set to release "The Foundation". Scheduled for an mid '08 release date, The Foundation is produced entirely by Shuko, hosted by Heltah Skeltah and mixed by yours truly. This project features appearances from everyone that's who's who in the game including Skyzoo, Bekay, Jae Millz, Papoose, Canibus, Torae, Rakim, Talib Kweli, Shabaam Sahdeeq and Heltah Skeltah. Dutch lays down the cuts for many of the tracks featured on this project as well. Always keeping busy, Dutchmaster is also working closely alongside Bekay for the release of Bekay's full length LP, 'Hunger Pains'. "HP" Features production from the industries hottest producers such as Jonathan "JR" Rotem (50 Cent, Rihanna, Sean Kingston) and The Alchemist (Mobb Deep, Dilated Peoples) in addition to all-star features that include Saigon and Sean Price. Dutch is also nearing completion on the Coalmine Records compilation album, "Unearthed". Unearthed features production from established producers such as Ayatollah (Mos Def, Styles P) and Domingo to upcoming beatmakers that include Khrysis (Sean Price, Little Brother) and Marco Polo (Boot Camp Clik, Kool G Rap). Similarly, Unearthed features guest appearances from established legends such as G. Rap, CL Smooth & Large Professor in addition to features from hip-hops' rising stars that include Skyzoo, Torae, Juganot & more.
