Five years ago, four friends got together to collaborate words with hooks and melodies that would not only create music, but a fairytale. That fairytale would become This Last Dance. Drew Prez (Guitar,Vocals) and Nick Cuma (Drums) started writing in the summer of 2003 shortly before recruiting longtime friend Josh Bendix (Bass). The boys wasted no time and recorded a self-titled EP that fall. Quickly creating a buzz in the local music scene, the pop-punk trio found themselves headlining shows across Northwest Indiana as well as opening for national acts like The Starting Line, My American Heart, Saves The Day, Taking Back Sunday and Mae. In the winter of 2006 the trio became a quartet after adding Brett Wood (Guitar) recording for their first full length project began. "I remember the first day Brett auditioned for the gig, he knew every part of every song just from going to so many of our shows. We all just thought he was a great fit and he was what we were looking for. It couldn't have worked out better"-Drew. "Three Years Lost" was released early that summer and sold 500 copies the first week it was out. This fall, TLD plan on recording their follow up album "12 Steps To Recovery". With hooks sharp enough to cut, you will hear songs covering real life topics such as overcoming addiction, and loss. "I think now that were all a little older, and we've gotten to experience some of these issues first hand, it kind of helped us find who we are and what to write about. We didn't want to write another album about relationships and heartbreak. We wanted to write something that would benefit our fans the most, something they could listen to and take it for what it's worth"-Josh
