About Me


Atherial was once a rock band. That was before time made Atherial not a rock band. Now Atherial is a bounce-core-metal-thrust-shoeshine-breakbeat band from Mississauga Ontario. Atherial uses the talents of Alex Craig on geetar, Evan Blacker on bass, Brian Macmahon on the pots n' pans, and Ben Winokur's throat for screaming and whatnot. Atherial now plays songs whenever possible, wherever possible, generally at shows where a lot of alternative rock and pop-punk bands tend to show up so that we really don't fit in and overall the people aren't very receptive to us and tell us we should stop screaming and put on some clothes since we very often play entirely naked. Sometimes, when nobody's looking, Atherial put on clown suits and try to pile in to one of those really small cars but in fact the clown suits increase each of our volumes and so quite frankly it's a more difficult goal to reach than when there are no clown suits involved. If you want to hear us play, hook us up a show or come to one of our shows which happen every so often when we aren't at the bayside catching rays and eating those obscenely large chili dogs you see on that show The Weekenders if you're a family-channel kinda person.

An unnecessary 3rd blog
