Love is only the beginning. BLISS.

About Me

If you're not sure whether I'm being serious or not, I'm probably not. I cry when I'm embarrassed, angry, tired, and/or happy. I tend to go through phases, though I usually wish I'd stick to the things that I start out. My family is a big part of my life, of who I am, and of what brings me happiness. I like to read a lot, and though sometimes it's for the wrong reasons, it's a habit that's brought a lot of diversity, depth, and insight to my understanding of life and humanity. I like gummy worms too much for my own good. I don't appreciate people who think that no one could ever possibly understand or relate to them. I lean towards relativism in almost every regard, though I recognize that some ideals are worth upholding. I believe in the power that love has to make a difference in peoples' worlds, but also that love isn't enough. I love board games. And yogi tea. I am learning that one must give people a chance to change. I am also a supporter of the usage of the indefinite pronoun "one"-- it will fill a glaring grammatical need. I dislike anything that comes between people and civil dignities, including most religion, patriarchal condescension, bigotry of all forms, and suburban conditioning. I wish I still had a spine (that's not metaphorical). I get cranky sometimes, but I'll usually warn you when I do (take me seriously). I love people who make me laugh, and laugh at things I think are funny. I am a very bad liar, cheat, poker player, and deliverer of punch lines. Music is important to me. I like to write with pencils instead of pens. I admire my mother a lot and hope that my daughter will think of me as I think of her. I am not a skeptic, but also not naive. I have a bad sense of direction. I function better in almost all respects with coffee. I am a safe driver. I have very straight hair.
Oh, and plus I am made of metal. So there's that.
I heart Robert John son of the Christ.
