Thrown is a four-piece rock band from Dallas, Tx. The band started in Jan. 2004 with four guys getting together to play music that they loved. They started getting shows as a cover band and finally decided to write their own music a little over a year ago. They combined the band's many different influences from the 80's heavy metal sounds and the 90's hard hitting riffs to come up with a sound unique and unforgettable. Their lyrics discuss real life experiences that anybody can indentify with and relate to. Finally, in May 2006 they teamed up with Alex Gerst and ITR Studios and released their debut EP "Out of the Shadows". The first single "FREE" has already been receiving great reviews from Dallas radio and has become a driving force for their ever growing fan base.
