About Me

Well I suppose if you would have asked me 10 years ago if I'd be where I am now, I would have laughed at you, and given you one of those back pats that spits "Funny man, eh?" so eloquently through body language.

I suppose I'm just a typical guy, 26 years young, learning the ropes on what it means to be a leader to a wife, example in my church and work, and just generally trying to figure things out.
I love Jesus and give him props daily for taking a screwed up boy and turning into the man I am today. I give props to my parents for raising a country-bumpkin into a "successful" man, and I thank my wife for teaching me what 1 Cor. really means about love.
I'm a thinker, whether that be in a response or outside the box. I love to write poetry, I love to read things that are challenging, and I love to listen. Music is my passion and 3rd love. Whether it's playing worship or figuring out how to throw triplets into my strumming patterns so Shane Barnard would be proud, I love it all.
To sum it up, I love life, and the passions that can be found even in the mundane. It's all great and beautiful.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Shane and Shane, John Mayer, The owner of Martin guitars so I can thank him for my baby, Dustin Kensrue of Thrice, Tim O'Brian, and that's about it. I don't have many people I haven't already met or interacted with, so those would be it.

What does it take?

What does it take to feel joy again? Now I'm not talking in the sense of "I'm numb to the world, I can't feel my legs when I walk", but the kind that doesn't make things that shouldn't feel day to day...
