About Me

..
I have been married to my soul mate, Scott, for five years in May. We just welcomed our first baby girl into the world on December 4, 2007 at 3:49pm! We live in the beautiful California Bay Area. We work to play. We love to travel and explore new places and are very excited to raise our family near the beautiful mountain lake!
I am entirely creative. I spent many recent years trying to suffocate my creativity and remained bitterly unhappy. These days, I am embracing my creativity and feeling the beauty of true inner peace. I am recognizing the truth behind of the power of now. I am realizing the Law of Attraction. I am creating my own destiny by choosing my thoughts and not allowing my thoughts to choose me. It is a wonderful thing...
I love music. I love art. I love literature. I love my husband, my parents, my brothers, and my niece. I love my best friend and all the other amazing people who touch my life day in and day out. I love peace. I love my country. I love democracy. I love God. I love opportunity. I love nature. I love challenges. I love color. I love diversity. I love laughing and singing and just being with people who encourage me. I love naps in the late afternoon. I love brisk autumn days. I love the ocean waves crashing. I love silence in nature and the stillness of a glistening snow. I love solitude and companionship equally. I love life and every day I have to live it...
Today is a gift. You have to live each moment to the fullest... it is all that you have!

My Interests

Music - listening to all sorts of different genres, playing my keyboard, dancing...
Reading - great books, or even not so great books. Reading gives you an opportunity to step outside of your own life for a while and delve into the imagination...
Writing - I have always loved to write. I think I am able to express myself better in writing than I am in person. Writing is one of those things, for me, that would be perfect to base a career around, because I would actually be doing what I love. Need to focus my energy in that direction for a while and see where it leads me...
Creativity - I love the explore my creative side. It has come to my attention recently that I am a truly creative person and that creative avenues are my true calling. I need to spend some time daily doing something creeative, whether it be sewing, quilting, coloring, painting, writing, or playing music... it is who I am and I cannot continue to deny that.
Mountain biking - There is something purely awesome about riding up a mountain and finding yourself somewhere where you can feel the solitude because it is so strong... you realize that you have come to a place that few people ever visit, because the only way to get there is by foot, bike, or horse!
Road trips! I absolutely love traveling, but especially by road. Yosemite and Lake Tahoe are probably my favorite destinations, but I am always up for someplace new, so definately let me know if you have any recommendations.
Learning new things - I love to challenge my mind with new ideas and experiences. It is so fulfilling to feel that sense of growth. Always looking for that next adventure!
Spending time with friends... either in person or online!
My best friend, Shawna & I - June, 2006

I'd like to meet:

Honest, intelligent, inquiring minds...
People who will encourage my creative side... who will help it break free from hiding.
People who are on their own paths and journeys to find inner peace... who are using The Secret and the Law of Attraction to manifest their own destinies...
People who love to talk about music and bands and are always searching for a new favorite group or artist, like I am.

Please keep Ryan and all of our soldiers in your thoughts and prayers... it takes a very special person to volunteer to protect your freedom. Thank you.
