[H]eartek

.: who we are :.

[H]eartek is born in 2007 as a project by
Ivan G. (vox/composer/arranger) and
Marco A. (author/composer/illustrator/backing vox).
In their songs electronics are a toy at the hands of melody
and a rock attitude, with compositions that almost
follow the "3 minutes" pop, dance, punk rule, and whose lyrics sound
as haikus telling Heartek's generation p.o.v. about contradictions
and absurdities that lurk into reality.
Heartek's music and stories (along with the unlikely astounding
adventures of Mr. [H] the Alien Ant) have gathered affection
and audience on Myspace, and are executed in live electronic sets
or rearranged in live rock performances with the '80 guitar of Charly U. and the aid of proguest musicians.

E' il progetto con cui nel 2007
Ivan G. (voce/compositore/arrangiamenti)
e Marco A. (autore/compositore/cori/),
hanno deciso di trasporre in musica immediata e diretta
le loro suggestioni, i desideri e alcune delle loro influenze artistiche.
Il risultato sono canzoni in cui l'elettronica è un giocattolo
al servizio della melodia e del rock,
con composizioni che spesso violano di poco la
"regola dei tre minuti" del pop, della dance e del punk, mentre i testi
condensano in una sorta di haiku il modo in cui
la loro generazione giudica e affronta
una realtà spesso assurda e contraddittoria.
La musica degli Heartek e le storie che raccontano,
(anche tramite le improbabili avventure della formica aliena
Mr. [H]) hanno già raccolto affetto e ascolti nel mondo di
MySpace, e si adattano essere proposti in live set elettronici preparati
o trasformati in esecuzioni rock live con la chitarra anni '80 di Charly U. e l'aiuto di
musicisti pro.
