Fernando Miranda (aka Akros) Was born in Baja California, Mexico, at an early age he was very interested in music so when he turned 12 years old he started to play the guitar. Influenced by alternative rock and metal at the age of 16 he formed part of a band called Necrophilia (death metal) 2 years later with one of the members of the band he started an industrial metal proyect called "Exemia", where he produced and sang That's where people started to know them in the region and various parts of Mexico. After 2 years Fernando started getting interesed in psychedelic trance music and that is how he started producing tracks as a soloist at the end of 2006. His first presentation was at a main event in Tijuana in 2007 from there on he has been playing all over from this side to the other. He now forms part of the Mechanik Records Family a worldwide well known label where he is at this moment producing tracks for VA's and creating new material for his amazing Live sets. Akros meaning "Extreme", has been cataloged as one of the fresh new sounds of the century, combined with powerful nightly beats, so be sure to hear this name very often this year.
