Fiyaboy AKA The Yung Gambit is a bright young mind that's taking the industry by storm with his music. The Louisiana native was born and raised in Shreveport, where he developed a passion for music that has lead him to become an elite songwriter, composer, as well as a rap artist. His many talents began like so many before in a small church in Grand Cane, LA where he was active in the church choir. His mother was a devout vocalist and it was there he learned how to arrange music. When he was 17, he learned to play the piano and organ and began playing for the youth choir. Along with other young members of the church, he began writing and arranging songs for a youth group called GCP. Since then he has made it his life's work to create quality music to share with the world. In 2000, he joined the U.S. Army where he met his friend and mentor Chris Franklin AKA Frank Breeze, who taught him the structure of rap and agreed to produce tracks for his album. In the fall of 2002 Fiyaboy recorded his very song "Mary My Love" a catchy tune dedicated to the fruits of the herb. As people began to catch on to the tune, he decided that he would begin his career as a rap artist. It was then he joined a group of young talented local artists called Da Collision where he recorded his first CD "The Big Bang Theory".He took a brief pause in 2003 when he was deployed to Iraq, however he used every opportunity to continue advancing in his craft. He entered a talent contest on July 4th, 2003 in Iraq for the 4ID 2BDE Independence Day Celebration and won 1st prize. There he met now group members of the Krunk Family, Slo-Mo, Willie B, G-Style, and J-Kool and formed the powerhouse group that they are today. He has recently released an independent album under his label Fiya Fa Sho Music called "5000 Fahrentheit" which features members of the Krunk Family and their brother group Tha Off Tha Block G'z another rap group that is getting the street's attention in large numbers. His latest release "I'm Clean" which features Latium recording artist Rob G (Reppin My Block) is sure to be a club banger. The style of his lyrics, the childish tone of his voice and his riddled vocabulary are sure to grab your ears and hold your attention. It is very rare to find an artist that can make you bounce to a club track and also make you think about life's ups and downs without losing interest in what he's saying. Fiyaboy definitely possess the skill to do both. He makes a very bold statement in his music that he is here now and does not plan on leaving anytime soon.LOVEMYFLASH CODE
