Et Encore

In 1995 a few folkies started the band Et encore. Irish traditionals and popular folksongs indicated clearly a band with a great live reputation. In 1997 they decided to play folkpop / rock and wrote plenty of songs by themselves. They played lot of gigs in Belgium on different occassions. They sing most of the time in English and they released their first album: "not a full box of smarties" in the summer of 2000. From 2001 they gigged very intense and also across the borders. France is no unknown country anymore. They also released there second album: "Greetings from St.- Louis" in 2003. In 2005 they are invited for the third time in Skagen folkfestival in Danmark. They are a live fun band with an own technical crew. 2006: their new album: "the barber, next door" is released in may. Deerlycke folkfestival is their home.
