I heart Robert K. Bosma!
I'd like to meet:
People who don't suck.
Music:
paul simon alone or with art, dmb also i like him alone or with his band, coldplay, joni mitchel, fuel, anna nalick, shakira, sherl crow, keith urban, jonny cash, (old country reminds me of my mom and georgia, it's like going home) brenda weiler, britney spears, mariah, save feris, blink, madonna, bach, dixie chicks, i guess i like a bit of everything, whatever comes on the radio. music is so universal and everyone relates to it; my favorite thing about music is how it takes you back, it makes you feel human.
I'm also a sucker for hot band directors, what can I say I've got a weakness for music teachers.
Movies:
what the bleep do we know (everyone should see this at least once), last kiss, american beauty, M*A*S*H, vanity fair, old school, the nighmare before christmas, mystic pizza, 21 grams, crash, the breakup (it's sad but honest), shut up and sing, anything that involves the viewer, but nothing scary, i won't sleep for weeks.
Television:
First of all, tv is the devil; it sucks all productivity & ambition. That said, my favorite shows are M*A*S*H, gray's, law and order, the today show, regis and kelly, moring telivision is fun when it's rainy &/or cold and you've got nothing to do and the simpsons.
Books:
the over spent american and the over worked american both by juliet schor, the nanny diaries, confessions of an economic hit man (everyone should read this book, it's written like a novel but it informs like a text), dematerializing: taming the power of possessions by Jane Hammerslough, tuesdays with morrie, little engine that could & the three little pigs (my favorite book as a child)currently reading art and fear
Heroes:
My family, especially the women. They have shown me how to be strong and brave even when it seems impossible.
