Myspace Comments | Myspace Graphics | Myspace SurveysWell, I've lived in Chicagoland area for most of my 37 years of existence, and I absolutely LOVE it. I enjoy everything the city has to offer (except for the harsh winters -- that I could do without but I love a White Christmas) and take advantage of it every chance I get. I prefer to spend my time actually DOING something rather than pondering the idea. Though I am a planner as I believe you need to know where you’re going in order to get the destination… Thank God for GPS!! LOL I also believe in SPONTANIETY as it keeps things real with a sense of excitement. I enjoy boating with friends and family aboard my boat on Lake Michigan; golfing ….still pursuing that elusive hole in one; snow skiing out West; going to Cubs Game; fishing for Marlin in the Sea of Cortez; attending black tie charity events – personal favorite is Eve of the Eve or Green Tie Ball; the theater – have you seen Wicked – ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE; attending a street festival – Wells Street / Old Town Art Fair is at the top of that list; traveling domestically and internationally but need to do more aboard; working out 4 to 5 times week (includes weekends); discovering a new restaurant and wine (a recent discovery Montes "M" Alpha a Chilean Red Wine – you can get it at Sam's Wine & Spirits); or simply cooking at home for myself or entertaining friends (asides from being a master of the grill – Bone In Leg of Lamb would be my specialty on the Weber – my signature dish is Osso Bucco and you must leave room for desert as my Chocolate Souffle’ is euphoric (little secret get the chocolate from Vosges and make sure to use real whip cream and whip it tirelessly for 10 minutes and fold it gently at the last minute); and finally reading a thought provoking book (currently Valley Boy – The education of Tom Perkins).I also thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and spending quality time listening to them and discovering what they are passionate about. I am not an introvert or an extrovert but rather a chameleon that likes adapting to the situation and environment. I am especially optimistic and never judge people though I do believe in first impression. I do believe and practice the dying art of chivalry and wish more of my contemporaries would be equal to the task but I guess that makes me unique. God Bless my late Grandfather who instilled that art in me at a young age as I observed his life with my grandmother.I'm a very active individual and you will rarely find me lounging around doing nothing -- unless of course I am on the water as I find the time on the water nurturing to the soul. I'm pretty health-conscious and avoid fast food places like the plaque. Yet I find my morning ritual includes a daily trip to Starbucks for a cup of java.Something not many people know about me: I want and plan on writing a book!!!! Too bad I hate writing and frequently find myself for a loss of words! LOL Just kidding!! Serious I want to write a book and hope to begin that journey in the next couple of years.So why Myspace and what do I want? Well I figured this avenue would bring people into my life that I wouldn’t normally come across on a given day. I do however believe in destiny but believe you have a hand in creating that outcome. I'd like to meet YOU - an intriguing, honest, genuine, like-minded individual who can carry on a stimulating conversation! You will share my passion for living life, staying physically active and athletic, and experiencing new and exciting venues. You are an optimistic person who is attractive, confident, intelligent, has a sense of humor or at the least can laugh with me, emotionally stable and affectionate -- not too much to ask for, right?
