I've lived in Mountain View, Kansas City, Columbia, Dresden, Coralville, and now Riverdale. Moving to New York was a no brainer. I was blessed with the opportunity to perform for a living, which just so happens to be what I've been going to school for since Kindergarten. Yes, there have been times when I wanted to go back to where the people smile outside of their homes, but I knew this was right when my mother told me it would be stupid of me to pass up this opportunity. Thank God for Mary Louise 'cause even though she miss her baby and all that I went through at Iowa and getting settled in up here, she never once said, "Precious, just come home." She's gotten a prophetic word so she tells me. What she won't do is tell me what it is. But she knows I love performing and she sees and hears from other people that I have a gift. This is just another sacrifice she has made for me 'cause she knows that if she asked me, I'd come home in a heartbeat. This is the first time I've had my own place and not been in school. It's wonderfully weird and everyday, I fall in love with being a grown up. Other than that, I'm an opera singer that loves everything from Three6Mafia to Kurt Elling. My PSP and me are inseperable and Urban Rebounding is my new drug of choice. ;)
