CROSSBONES

About Me

CROSSBONES are from Perth, Western Australia. The Crossbones lean towards the harder side of rock 'n' roll with a cross-section of rock, punk and metal influences. Their music has been described as "Hard as nails pub rock" (Drum Media 2007), which is exactly the direction Crossbones have always been steering towards. "We're not out to write radio friendly music that's gonna be popular with the masses. We know what we like and we stay true to that 100%" states Carl Woodward guitarist / songwriter. Crossbones have 3 releases to their name since their arrival in 2005. 'Goin to the Show' (2006), 'Stick of Rollin' Dynamite' (2007), 'Incinerator Blues (2008) AVAILABLE ONLINE www.poisontreerecords.com // CONTACT CROSSBONES EMAIL: [email protected]
DEVIL'S KITCHEN REVIEW 2009 "Rock-and-cock was next on the agenda with Crossbones on cue. And they certainly do pride themselves on a ‘no bullshit’ approach to everything they do, in every aspect. Taking a slice from the Aussie pub rock pie, the power engine that resides in this quartet of sorts had a distinctive swagger that most of the well-lubricated listeners were eager to receive. Like shoving a pitchfork down your throat and waiting for the gurgled screams, these guys are rough to the core" (Faster Louder).
