About Me

Husband, father, bassist, house concert promoter, web developer.
I play bass in my band Still Evolving along with my friends Russ Douglas & Bill Hunter. We love getting people up and dancing at our shows. Come see us paly some time, I command you.
The Triumph bass by Warwick is an electric upright bass & I play it often. All 5 of my basses are made by Warwick in Germany (the acoustic Alien bass is a prototype made somewhere in Asia). They all sound amazing and are a blast to play.
My wife Michelle & I host house concerts – not parties, but actual music performances in our living room. Attentive audience members come to hear amazing music. They get to see the artists up close & unplugged. It’s the ultimate way to experience music…no p.a., no speakers, no microphones. They get to hear every little nuance of the music. People bring food & beverages to share. We eat & drink the food & beverages, they are always delicious (we’re right in Santa Barbara County’s wine country). Then we sit down to enjoy the music. Our house concerts are becoming quite well known and we are starting to get requests from artists all aover to come & play our living room! It really is becoming known as a great place to play between Los Angeles & San Francisco.
Some artists that have played our house concerts:
Sean Watkins & Sara Watkins (of Nickel Creek)
Glen Phillips (of Toad The Wet Sprocket )
Brian Vander Ark (of The Verve Pipe )
